I'd start by getting a good study bible like this one for personal study:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Study-Bible-Crossway-Bibles/dp/1433502410
Then I'd read up on good study methods. You could start with this:
http://www.amazon.com/How-Read-Bible-All-Worth/dp/0310246040/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1335650683&sr=1-1
or check out the introductory material to any of my online workbooks, or the audio link at the end of the post.
Then I'd get into a good inductive bible study in my church or community.jen wilkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02934053593868428344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6892445584591819741.post-18289331042260985112012-04-28T11:14:40.118-07:002012-04-28T11:14:40.118-07:00Being a learner of the Bible is something I have b...Being a learner of the Bible is something I have been convicted and challenged by the Spirit recently. It's so interesting how it seems women especially fall for the teacher rather than THE Book. Thankfully, we have some awesome leadership at our church that has really spurred our body on to studying Scripture! The growth happening is fantastic!
Thanks, Jen!
